Kirtan Mini Harmoniums
This small, simple, very portable harmonium has a pleasing sound and good sustain. We feel it is far superior to similar and more well known Delhi-made instruments.
There are 2 sets of reeds, voiced Bass/Male and a seven fold bellows. The 2 1/2 octave keyboard starts at the F below middle C and goes up to a high A. Thus it easily matches almost anyone's vocal range. It has 2 stops and 2 drones.
It folds up into a small suitcase sized box measuring 12 1/2 by 18 by 8 inches. Opened up it measures 12 1/2 by 18 by 11 inches. It weighs 18 pounds. The opening and closing mechanism is superior to and much more user friendly than the mechanism commonly used in Delhi style harmonums. The top detaches.
Also, please note that because these harmoniums are made of pine wood, which is quite soft, minor dings and blemishes are normal.
