The sounds of the Arkana Chimes by Somni Sounds create a unique space of stillness, serenity, introspection and crystalline vibrations, inviting the presence of deep relaxation and meditation into the environment. The mesmerizing sounds come from precisely tuned high grade aluminium alloy that emanates high resonance, long sustain, and rich harmonic sounds.
The Arkana's beautiful hexagonal frame (based on sacred geometry) amplifies the energetic potential of the instrument. The name 'Arakana' is a word originating from quechua, which means a protection hymn/Ikaro.
Arkana comes in pre-tuned scales that require no maintenance in tuning. We carefully choose these note combinations in order to provide a harmonious and intuitive experience. For those who do not have knowledge of music theory, just listen and feel what resonates with you and moves your being.

Carlos Pinheiro is a multi-instrumentalist passionate about music from different cultures and deeply influenced by sacred rituals that have music as their guiding principle. From these practices, he was led to find his purpose in life: to empower everyone with the gift of making music and art, in an intuitive, light, and playful way.
Located in the mountains of Lumiar, on a site surrounded by lush forest and bathed by the waters of the Macaé River, we find inspiration in every detail and sound of the nature around us.
Here, in harmony with the environment, we build sound sculptures that resonate with the delicate and powerful beat of the heart of the forest. Our vision is to be able to extend to all places in the world the possibility of recreating the harmony and peace that we find in our home.
